We warmly invite you to join a transformative 3-day silent meditation retreat, deeply rooted in the core teachings of The Great Perfection Preliminary Practices. This retreat offers a rare opportunity to establish a solid foundation in Buddhist practice and embark on a profound journey toward awakening.

About The Great Perfection Preliminary Practices:
The Great Perfection Preliminary Practices (Ngöndro) are essential steps in the Dzogchen tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. These practices are designed to purify the mind, accumulate merit, and lay the groundwork for realizing the ultimate nature of reality. They serve as the gateway to deeper spiritual insight and progress on the path toward enlightenment and Buddhahood.

The Four Preliminary Practices include:

The Precious Human Life: Contemplating the rarity and value of obtaining a human life capable of practicing the Dharma.
Impermanence and Death: Reflecting on the impermanent nature of life, encouraging urgency in spiritual practice.
The Sufferings of Samsara: Realizing the inherent sufferings of cyclic existence, fostering renunciation and the desire for liberation.
Karma: Cause and Effect: Understanding the law of cause and effect, recognizing the certainty of results from virtuous and non-virtuous actions.
During this retreat, participants will engage in these contemplative practices, guided by experienced monastic teachers. By working through these foundational steps, you will cultivate the inner qualities necessary for true spiritual transformation and awakening.
